Micah Cosby, 34, also is a suspect in bank holdups in Maryland

A Maryland man, wanted for bank robberies in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, has been arrested after he allegedly held up a Dover bank.

Micah Crosby, 34, of Riverdale, was caught shortly after the robbery of the TD Bank at 758 N. Dupont Boulevard, Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

The investigation showed that at about 5:07 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, Cosby allegedly walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. He fled the area, but his vehicle was spotted by Dover officers a short time later. Police chased the vehicle for a short distance and took Cosby into custody.

Cosby’s alleged involvement in the Maryland robberies was revealed after his arrest, Hoffman said.

For the TD Bank holdup, Cosby was charged with second-degree robbery, resisting arrest and several traffic violations. He has been jailed at the Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, on a $16,000 cash bond.
