Dover police detectives are investigating a shooting incident in which a local home was hit by a single bullet.

The incident took place around 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 in the area of Davis Circle and Lincoln Street, Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Witness provided several different reports about the occupants of two vehicles shooting at each other as they traveled in opposite directions.

The home, located in the 100 block of Davis Circle, was occupied but no one inside was injured, Hoffman said.
