The Wesley College Masters of Occupational Therapy Program announced the opening of a pro bono clinic to meet the occupational therapy needs of the underserved in Delaware communities.
The clinic will be a student-run clinic supervised by faculty to provide the students with hands-on learning while offering free or low priced therapy services to those in need.
Qualified candidates will receive occupational therapy screening, evaluation, intervention and recommendations. In 2018, the services will expand to include the adult neurologically impaired population in the Delaware communities.
Services will be provided on site at the Wesley College Department of Occupational Therapy at Johnston Hall Health Sciences, 300 S. New St., Dover. A review process is required to determine eligibility.
