The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Dover police are looking for 21-year-old Jaquan Crump, who is suspected of having stabbed a woman over the weekend.

Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the stabbing took place at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8 at the Irish Mike’s pub at 107 W. Loockerman St.

A verbal argument was taking place between several people when Crump allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed a 24-year-old woman four times, Hoffman said.

The woman was treated for her wounds at the Bayhealth Hospital-Kent Campus; her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Crump escaped the area and now is wanted on charges of first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony.

Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on Crump’s whereabouts is asked to call Dover police at 736-7111. Tips may be left anonymously.
