Here are three fun events to dive into this weekend.

1. One of the major stories of the international music scene is coming to Delaware with Red Priest.

Red Priest is named after the flame-haired priest Antonio Vivaldi. This English ensemble has redefined the art of performing baroque music, combining heart-on-sleeve emotion with swashbuckling virtuosity.

Founded in 1997, Red Priest has given several hundred sell-out concerts in many of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Moscow December Nights Festival, Schwetzingen Festival and Prague Spring Festival.

Red Priest will take audiences on an adventure at Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. Fourth St., in Lewes at 8 p.m., Saturday. COST $30. MORE INFO coastalconcerts.org or 645-9426.

2. If you're looking for a change of pace, “Lend Me A Tenor” can help you out.

The show will take you way back to the 1930s, where you'll meet the world famous Tito Merelli, known as II Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation.

When the star arrives late for a show – and through a hilarious series of mishaps, is given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out – things start to get more interesting.

A hit on Broadway and London's West End, this madcap, screwball comedy promises to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter.

“Lend Me A Tenor” is coming to the Smyrna Opera House, 7 W. South St., at 7:30 p.m., Friday; and at 2:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. COST $8 children ages 12 or younger; $14 members, military and seniors; $16 general admission. MORE INFO smyrnaoperahouse.org or 653-4236.

3. The Maker Fest is where folks will participate in a chocolate-making demonstration, free-beer tasting and much more.

Maker Fest is part science fair, part community fair and part something entirely new. This event is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists and engineers.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase and there will be free beer and spirits samples.

This family-friendly fest will be at Hagley Museum and Library, 200 Hagley Creek Road, Wilmington from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday. COST $10 adults; free for children younger than age 6. MORE INFO hagley.org or 658-2400.
