Restoring Central Dover, the Delaware State Human Relations Commission, Wesley College and Delaware State University will host a Racial Equity Community Café from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22 on the second floor of the Wesley College Center, 120 N. State St., Dover.

This community forum will investigate barriers to equality, justice and opportunity in central Dover; and how to overcome them through fair housing, criminal justice reform, economic and educational parity.

The program will begin with participants focusing on the question, “What is it that divides us?” Participants will choose one of five break-out sessions organized around themes of housing, economics, education, criminal justice and political action to answer the question, “What can we do to bridge the divides?”

The café is free and open to the public; advance registration is required. To register, visit racialequitycommunitycafe.eventbrite.com.
