A state of Delaware historical marker recognizing the town of Camden and the Zion A.M.E Church as important stops on the Underground Railroad was dedicated Nov. 16 in Camden. The church, which is on Center Street, dates to the 1840s. Attending the ceremony were, from left, the Rev. Charles E. Drummer Jr., presiding elder of the church, Wilmington district; the Rev. Rosa S. Smith; Sister Lorraine Harris; state Sen. Colin Bonini, R-Dover South, (in back); Rep. Donald Blakey, R-Camden; and Margaret Dunham, historian at the Delaware Public Archives.
