Lake Forest girls basketball surged back from a seven-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to beat St. Andrew’s 47-42 at St. Andrew’s Tuesday night.

Lake Forest was down by as many as eight points in the fourth quarter but disciplined defense and timely buckets helped the Spartans take the lead late in the game.

Lake Forest had seven players make the scoring sheet but it was the Spartans' Georlycia Curtis who lead all scorers from both teams with 14 points.

Lake Forest girls will host Woodbridge Friday night and travel to Indian River Tuesday evening.
