“Dancing with the Delaware Stars” was held Jan. 30 at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. Meredith Sullivan and Ted Briggs started things off with a crisp foxtrot. During the competition, seven local novice dancers partnered with professionals to vie for audience and judges’ favorite. By the end of the night, Mike Collier and Trish Rodriguez had racked up enough points and audience votes to be declared winners.

“Dancing with the Delaware Stars” was held Jan. 30 at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. Proceeds from the dance contest went Mom’s House, a licensed free daycare center that provides parenting and career counseling for parents who also are full time students.
