Grammy, CMA, and ACM award-winner Sugarland will perform at the 2012 M&T Bank Grandstand at the Delaware State Fair on Saturday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Feb. 16, and can be purchased by visiting www.DelawareStateFair.com.

“We are thrilled to welcome back such a high caliber artist as Sugarland to perform here at the 2012 Delaware State Fair. We are currently working to book and opening act for Sugarland so keep checking our website for more details," said Danny Aguilar, assistant general manager and director of marketing.

Tickets for the Sugarland show go on sale at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, on www.DelawareStateFair.com. Tickets are $69 for track and stadium seating and $64 for grandstand and clubhouse seating. Tickets for the new orchestra pit section are $94.

The “pit” section is located just feet away from the stage and will be a general admission, standing room only (with no chairs) section. The pit tickets can be purchased under the PRICE, LOCATION, & SECTION tabs. Pit tickets cannot be purchased under “Best Available." The “pit” is general admission standing room only and tickets are priced at $94. All other tickets (track, stadium, grandstand, and clubhouse) will be reserved seating with chairs.  Concert attendance does require the purchase of a separate gate admission ticket.

The Delaware State Fair is excited for Sugarland to return to the Delaware State Fair for the first time since 2007.  The country music duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are embracing a creative rebirth, a musical awakening that permeates their adventurous fourth album, The Incredible Machine.

“We are in a place of discovery,” Jennifer said. “It is the essence of who we are as people in this band. There is never a moment where we think, ‘This is good enough.’ There’s always a place for growth.”

And what they’ve created is a dynamic masterwork. Co-written and co-produced in full by Jennifer and Kristian, The Incredible Machine is a soaring album elevated by sky-high choruses, ringing guitars, and pulsing drums that recall the beating of the album’s titular engine, the human heart.

The 2012 Delaware State Fair will be held July 19 to July 28. Currently, Jason Aldean, Larry the Cable Guy, and Casting Crowns tickets are already on sale. Other artists in the Delaware State Fair Summer Concert Series will be announced in the coming months as each artist is confirmed.
