The Schwartz Center has announced a program to celebrate Black History Month through music and the words of Martin Luther King Jr.
The celebration will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 and will feature a performance by the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and the Wesley College and Delaware State University Choirs.
The Rev. John Moore Sr. of Calvary Baptist Church will narrate the words of King. There will also be a discussion by scholars of the history of African American composers.
Tickets are $35 for adults, $32 for military personnel, $25 for students and $18 for children.
