Six “Easton Art Banners” were stolen from storage June 23 in the middle of the night. A young man and woman wearing hiking-size backpacks are on video tape leaving the facility, with the six banners under their arms. The motive is not clear.

These particular banners commemorate the 300th anniversary of Easton. The value of the banners make this a felony offense. There will be no charges if the banners are returned unharmed.

To submit information about the stolen banners, call Detective Freeman at the Easton Police Department at 410-822-1111. There will be a $500 reward for information leading to the return of the banners.
