Bring a picnic, a blanket and chairs and enjoy a free showing of "Wizard of Oz" on the front lawn at the Biggs Museum. The movies starts at 8:30  p.m. Tuesday, July 27.

"Wizard of Oz" is a 1939 American musical film directed by Victor Fleming, based on the 1900 children's novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. It features Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr and Frank Morgan. Notable in its use of special effects, use of Technicolor, fantasy storytelling and unusual characters, the "Wizard of Oz" has become, over the years, one of the best known of all films.

All ages are welcome to attend.

Upcoming movies include "Shrek" on Tuesday, Aug. 3; "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on Tuesday, Aug. 10; and "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" on Tuesday, Aug. 17. All start at 8:30 p.m.
