The Delaware State Fair assistant general manager has announced two more shows for the M&T Grandstand at the 2018 fair, in addition to the two concerts already scheduled with Toby Keith and the "southern rock revival" with Travis Tritt and Charlie Daniels.

Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will return to the fair Monday, July 23 bringing Achmed, Walter, Peanut, Bubba J and the rest of the gang. Dunham is a global comedy superstar and one of the world’s most inventive entertainers. Gates will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $44 to $59.
Christian rock singer Lauren Daigle with Rend Collective will perform Tuesday, July 24 in a concert presented by 88.7 The Bridge. Blessed with a voice that is both smoky and sweet, Daigle has forged a unique sound that combines the soulful, heart-in-throat vulnerability, with the passionate fire to serve God. Joining Lauren will be "the genre-blurring artist" Rend Collective. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 to $60.
"We had such a great response to our last announcement, we wanted to keep the trend going with another announcement before Christmas," said Danny Aguilar, assistant general manager of the Delaware State Fair. "Many of our customers have requested this in hopes they could purchase tickets for that someone special."

The state fair managers have already announced concerts at the 2018 fair by country star Toby Keith, and a "southern rock revival" show featuring Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Outlaws and The Marshall Tucker Band.
The Delaware State Fair M&T Bank Grandstand is located at 18500 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington. The 2018 fair will be held July 19-28.
