Dover Police are investigating a break-in and theft at a local coin business.
The burglary occurred at 2:56 a.m. Sept. 3, at First State Coin, in the Greentree Shopping Center, said police spokesman Lt. David Spicer.
The suspect got into the building by breaking out a front window with a piece of concrete block, and then broke three glass display cases with a hammer. The burglar took a number of examples of collectable currency, to include red and blue Treasury seal bills, graded coins and silver, from the cases.
