Dover Police are asking the public’s assistance in solving a recent burglary.
The incident took place at 4:27 p.m. Aug. 29, at the Bayard Apartments complex at 200 W. Loockerman St., said police spokesman Lt. David Spicer.
The suspect got into the building through an unsecured door on the east side of the building and then went to the main office on the first floor, where he took a money order check, Spicer said.
The burglar apparently left the same way he got in, Spicer added.
The suspect is described only as a black man wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.
