Today is Michael Jackson’s birthday.

To celebrate the late, legendary performer, The Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville will present the theatrical tribute show Invincible: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson tonight.

The performance will feature a world-class dance company, Grammy Award-winning vocalists and musicians, master percussionists and video jockeys.

The show will highlight Jackson’s early moments with his brothers to his stratospheric rise to becoming one of the greatest entertainers of all time. This multi-media production will include Jackson’s greatest hits such as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” ”Thriller” and “Smooth Criminal.”

The Empire will invade the Delaware Children’s Museum in Wilmington on Saturday.

An out-of-this-world event, the DCM will host your favorite Star Wars characters from the Garrison Carida of the 501st Legion. The 501st Legion is a professional costuming organization dedicated to recreating authentic costumes from Star Wars.

Youngsters will have the opportunity to do fist-pumps and take photos with characters from the dark and light sides. And since the DCM is a museum, there will be hands-on programs that will allow kids to explore the science of Star Wars.

Whoever said “nothing in life is free” probably hadn’t been to the Arden Fair yet.

Located about 15 minutes from Wilmington, the 107th Arden Fair will kick off on Sunday by offering a number of attractions and wares. And above all, the event offers free admission.

Fairgoers will find more than 120 vendors selling handmade crafts and jewelry, a children’s area for kids with games and pony rides, free live music, a food court with funnel cake and much more.
