The First State Animal Center and SPCA will offer its Fixin’ to Save Lives spay/neuter program from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25.

This program is only for cats, said spokeswoman Lisa Chase.

The cost to spay a cat is $75; cost to neuter a cat is $55. The price includes a rabies vaccine.
