  • Cheswold Police have released a photograph of a suspect involved in the burglary of a town business.
The crime occurred at 3:17 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Kwon's Laundromat, located at 762 Main Street, said Chief of Police Christopher Workman. The suspect broke into a change machine, stole the cash inside, and fled.
The same business was burglarized in May 2013, with three people breaking into the change machine and several coin-operated laundry machines. Surveillance cameras also photographed those burglars and they were arrested several days later.
Cheswold officer Susan Klein obtained the most recent surveillance photo with the assistance of the Delaware State Police High Tech Crimes Unit.
Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect is asked to call Cheswold Police at 734-2202, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) 847-3333.
