  • Fugitive nabbed on heroin charges

  • A Dover man, wanted on several outstanding warrants, has been arrested.
    Antwaun Campbell, 26, of the 100 block of South Queen Street, was taken into custody July 30 in the parking lot of the Hamlet Shopping Center, said Dover Police Department spokesman Lt. David Spicer.
    Members of the department’s Drug, Vice and Organized Crime Unit spotted Campbell and made the arrest; Campbell was found so be carrying nine bags of heroin, packaged for sale, at the time of his arrest, Spicer said.
    Campbell was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and two counts of probation violation.
    He has been jailed at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, after failing to pay a $10,000 secured bond.
