A Frederica resident, serving time at the Morris Community Corrections Center, Dover, has died.
William B. Oliver, 51, died at 1 a.m. July 19, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, said Delaware Department of Correction spokesman John Painter.
Oliver was serving a one-year sentence for violation of probation on an original charge of shoplifting. His sentence effective date was Jan. 17, 2014.
Oliver’s body has been turned over to the State Medical Examiner's Office, as is standard procedure, Painter said, and foul play is not suspected.
