  • Harrington police are still searching for a second suspect involved in an assault on July 17 after arresting a 21-year-old Lewes resident in connection with the incident.
Nizsa S. Daisey was arrested after officers responded to an assault complaint on Cozy Wood Circle off of Corn Crib Road. Officers contacted a woman who reported that she was assaulted by Daisey and another suspect, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Brode said Daisey allegedly hit the woman in the face several times, causing minor injuries.
Police obtained a warrant for Daisey, who later turned herself in to the Harrington Police Department.
Daisey is charged with offensive touching, disorderly conduct and third-degree conspiracy. She was arraigned and released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.
