A Dover man has been arrested after allegedly selling an antique radiator to a local scrap yard.
A man suspected of committing a residential burglary has been arrested by Dover Police.
Ronnie Rust, 40, was taken into custody at 2:30 p.m. July 15, said department spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
Rust allegedly broke into a home in the 100 block of South State Street on July 14 and took an antique cast iron radiator, which was sold to a recycling center shortly afterward.
Police identified the radiator while canvassing local scrap yards after the burglary, and used that information to find and arrest Rust.
Rust, of the 800 block of South State Street, was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, theft and theft by false pretense.
He was ordered held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, after failing to pay a $7,000 secured bond.
