Six days a week this summer music lovers can visit Killens Pond State Park, as well as five other parks throughout the state for free concerts.
Delaware State Parks’ Summer Concert Series is back, presenting a wide variety of family-friendly outdoor performances not only at Killens Pond, but at Bellevue, Trap Pond, White Clay Creek and Wilmington State Parks.
The concert series will entertain audiences at 6:30 p.m. until Labor Day.
Killens Pond State Park holds concerts every Friday through August 15 at the sports complex area. Chris English (Blues) will be featured on June 20.
Other bands playing will include Whirled Peas (American Roots) on June 27 and a special Fourth of July Concert, The Honeycombs (Oldies Style) at 5:30 p.m. on July 4.
Refreshments will be available through the Friends of Killens Pond State Park.
