The Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base again will hold its annual educational summer camp in July and August.
The camps are tailored for children between the ages of 9 and 15 who are interested in aeronautics and the U.S. Air Force.
Participants will learn the history and science of flight, fly a simulator, preflight an actual aircraft, and have the option of a flight around the Dover AFB flight pattern.
Start dates are July 14, July 21, and August 11.
Camps are half-day class sessions; for ages 9 to 11 years, session hours are 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and for ages 12 to 15 years, session hours are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The optional flight with the Aero Club will take place on a, Thursday, with Friday as a weather day.
Cost is $100 for a week of half-day classes and an additional $25 for the optional flight.
