  • A 37-year-old Felton woman is facing three counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police found her to be connected to an incident involving three juveniles in possession of marijuana.
Shannon M. Anderson was arrested on June 15, following a June 10 arrest of three underage people for possession of marijuana.
Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Dorman Street on June 10 and determined that three juveniles were smoking weed, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
A police investigation and interviews revealed that Anderson was the mother of one of the juveniles, and that the kids obtained the marijuana and paraphernalia from Anderson’s bedroom in Felton, Brode said.
Anderson turned herself in to the Harrington Police Department on June 15 and is charged with possession of marijuana and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.  She was released on a $1,200 unsecured bond.
