Dover Police are investigating a burglary and vandalism case at a local apartment complex.

The break-in took place between 10 p.m. June 9 and 4:30 a.m. June 10 at a home in the Towne Point apartment complex on Carvel Drive, said police spokesman Lt. David Spicer.

The burglar got into the apartment through an unsecured window, stole the victim’s purse and cut the phone cord, Spicer said.

No description of the burglar is available, Spicer said.
