  • A 26-year-old man is recovering from wounds received when he was shot outside the Alder Park apartment complex.

  • A 26-year-old man was admitted to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries June 7 after he was shot outside the Alder Park apartment complex.
    The incident took place at about 10:20 p.m. in the area of the DD building at 51 Webbs Lane, said Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack.
    The man said he was outside when he was approached by another man who pulled a handgun and fired several shots at him, Shavack said. The victim was hit twice in the lower part of his body; the gunman then fled. No description of the gunman was available, Shavack said.
