  • Two men were robbed Sunday in what apparently was a targeted home invasion near Camden.
The incident took place at about 12:12 a.m. June 8 at a home in the first block of Voshell’s Mill Star Hill Road, east of Camden.
Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack said seven or eight men forced their way into the home and assaulted the two residents, a 19-year-old man and a 29-year-old man. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns and demanded money from the victims.
The 19-year-old was able to break free and flee the home on foot; the suspects fled the home with cash and property, Shavack said.
The 29-year old victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. His condition is not known.
Detectives have determined this was not a random act and that the victims were targeted in the home invasion.
Other than describing the all of the suspects as black, there is no further physical or clothing description available, Shavack said.
