  • Man takes store receipts in Saturday robbery

  • A 30-year-old woman was robbed early Saturday morning at the Greentree Shopping Center.

  • Dover Police are investigating a robbery that took place early Saturday morning.
    According to police reports, the crime occurred at 5:30 a.m. May 17, at the parking lot of the PNC Bank at 87 Greentree Drive, Dover. The victim said she was sitting in her vehicle preparing to make a nights deposit for her employer when she was approached by a man.
    The man pointed a small-frame semiautomatic handgun at her and demanded the money, the victim said; after receiving the deposit bag, the man fled on foot toward Kenton Road.
    The suspect was described as a black man in his early 30s, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches in height of average build. He was wearing all-black clothing with his face covered by a cream-colored towel.
