  • Dover Police are looking for a man who robbed a local credit union Friday afternoon.
The robbery took place at approximately 2:05 p.m. May 16 at the Dover Federal Credit Union, located at 225 Saulsbury Rd., said Dover Police Department spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
The suspect, a black man, came into the credit union and got in line for the bank tellers, Hoffman said. As he approached a teller, the man gave the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied, and the man fled through the neighboring Blood Bank of Delaware parking lot.
He got into a SUV, apparently red in color; and drove southbound onto Saulsbury Road.
There were no injuries, Hoffman said.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111; callers may remain anonymous.
