Delaware State Parks will host Kids to Parks Day, a nationwide day of outdoor play on May 17.

Delaware State Parks will host Kids to Parks Day, a nationwide day of outdoor play on May 17.

These programs include:

Trap Pond State Park, 33587 Baldcypress, Laurel, will host a Delaware Outdoor Family Camp-out, where families can learn to camp and cook over the fire.

Cape Henlopen State Park,15099 Cape Henlopen Drive, Lewes, will offer a Hide and Seek Geo-caching program for ages 7 and up.

Lums Pond State Park, 1042 Howell School Road, Bear, will host Take a Kid Fishing program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children and young teens will learn about fishing and the importance of conservation.

Alapocas Run State Park, West Park Drive, Wilmington, will offer Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing from 1 to 3 p.m. for ages 8 and up.
