What concerns me is the teacher’s union seems to be asking for the endorsement of the other candidate, whose only education experience is that of a volunteer and a PTO member in one of our schools.  As a veteran educator, I appreciate her help with the schools, but have to put this into proper perspective. This choice is local and will affect our children and families.
Mr. Statham is currently a professor at Wilmington University and has dedicated his entire life to education.  He has a proven record of working with thousands of students and many professionals during his 30 years at Caesar Rodney School District.
As a current teacher, I feel we need to have someone on the school board that has had daily experience running a classroom as well as an entire math department at the CR high school. In this day and age when our children’s education is of utmost importance, how can we overlook Mr. Statham’s impeccable lifelong dedication and commitment to our educational system?
I would like to encourage everyone within the Caesar Rodney School District to get out there on May 13th and vote for a candidate you feel has the experience to lead our district in helping our children reach their full potential.

    Camden
