  • Dover pair facing drug charges

  • Dover Police have arrested two people, identified as Corey M. Patrick and Courtney Oliver, after a traffic stop turned up almost 80 grams of marijuana.

  • Dover Police have arrested two people on drug possession charges.
    The arrests tool place at approximately 1:36 p.m. May 6, according to a police news release.
    Dover Drug and Operation Safe Streets unit officers were patrolling the area of North Dupont Highway near Rustic Lane when they spotted a vehicle driven by Corey M. Patrick, 24.
    Knowing there was an arrest warrant out for Patrick, officers made a traffic stop and detected odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of Patrick and a passenger, identified as Courtney Oliver, 19, turned up 79.1 grams of marijuana, packaged for sale.
    Patrick was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana with an aggravating factor, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree conspiracy. He later was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
    Oliver was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and third-degree conspiracy, and then released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
