  • The five top entries chosen for the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife's Delaware Hunting Photo Contest are in.
    These entries include: First place: Jason Gary, of Hartly, for Patiently Waiting; second place: Jennifer Harris, of Harrington, by Jennifer Harris.
    “Our hunting photo contest theme was ‘Conservationists Enjoying the Outdoors,’ and this year’s winner depicts a young hunter carrying on Delaware’s great outdoor tradition as part of the next generation of conservationists,” said Division of Fish and Wildlife Director David Saveikis.
    Other photographers recognized for honorable mention were: “What We Bring Home on Black Friday” by Molly McNatt of Clayton; “Fun in the Blind,” taken by Jason Courtney of Magnolia; “Pheasant Hunt,” taken by Kenneth Henning of Wilmington.
    The winning photos will appear in the 2014-2015 Delaware Hunting and Trapping Guide.
