  • The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for Kent County beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday and ending at 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
Areas of minor coastal flooding are expected during high tide on Tuesday night, which is between 8 and 10 p.m. for Delaware coastlines. Roadways and areas with poor drainage are expected to be effected. Other areas of minor coastal flooding are possible at Wednesday’s high tides.
The National Weather Service advises that residents do not leave their vehicles in areas prone to tidal flooding and reminds drivers not to drive vehicles through flood waters, as the water could be deeper than it seems.
