  • Shooting suspect surrenders to Dover Police

  • Dover Police have arrested a man suspected in an April 21 shooting incident.

  • Dover Police have arrested Alexis Alriche, 28, a suspect in an April 21 shooting outside the Clearfield apartment complex on Haman Drive.
    According to the victim, Alriche’s girlfriend, she and Alriche had a verbal altercation outside the 100 building of the Clearfield Apartment on Haman Drive, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
    The victim said Alriche pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and fired three shots, narrowly missing her.
    He then fled in a tan Buick LeSabre with tinted windows and a temporary Delaware license plate.
    Alriche surrendered to police at 4:30 p.m. April 23, accompanied by his attorney, Hoffman said.
    He was charged with first-degree reckless endangering and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
    Alriche was freed on a $6,000 secured bond.
