Jan grew up in Dover, DE.  She graduated from Dover High School and the University of Delaware.  Her extensive career as General Manager and Marketing Manager with Developers and Management companies took her to Bluefield WV, Atlanta GA, Monmouth NJ, Cary NC, Aventura FL, Cincinnati OH, Chicago and Gurnee IL, Millsboro DE, Tucson AZ, Charlottesville VA, and Goldsboro NC.  Just the week before Jan passed away she had moved from Goldsboro to live with her sister, Andi.  She will be sadly missed by so many people who she met and touched across the country.
Jan was known as a vivacious free spirit, master entertainer and superb cook.  Her life experiences included earning her second degree black belt in martial arts, weapons handling, skydiving, repelling, mountain climbing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fencing, archery, rafting, and outdoor leadership and survival skills in artic conditions. She loved watching Law & Order and NCIS.
Jan’s last days in Lancaster General Hospital were blessed by the physicians, nurses, and other staff who cared for her so lovingly.
