  • Tip leads to drug arrests for Brooklyn, N.Y., men

  • Acting on an anonymous tip, Dover Police have arrested two Brooklyn, N.Y., men on a number of drug charges.

  • Dover Police have arrested two Brooklyn, N.Y., men after an anonymous tip led them to a city hotel room.
    The arrests were made April 11 at the Super Lodge Motel at 246 N. Dupont Highway, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
    After receiving the tip, officers with the Drug, Vice and Organized Crime Unit staked out the hotel, and executed a search warrant, taking the two men, identified as Derel Fleming, 26, and Keith Golden, 23, into custody.
    Officers seized 4.6 grams of crack cocaine, 43.8 grams of marijuana and 16 Endocet pills from the hotel room, Hoffman said.
    Both men were charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver Endocet, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree conspiracy.
    Golden also was charged with a single count of resisting arrest.
    Fleming and Golden were released on $16,500 and $17,500 unsecured bond.
