  • Scott Boling, of Camden, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 40.
    He  was born, March 9, 1974 in Columbus, Georgia.  Scott or “Bo” as he was known to his co-workers, was employed for the Sussex County Correctional Facility in Georgetown, for 13 years.  Scott loved Jesus, and had attended the Kent Christian Academy. He later graduated from Lake Forest High School, Class of 1993, where he had been Captain of the football team. Scott enjoyed hunting & fishing, and always had a smile on his face. He was always ready to help anyone in need.
    Scott was preceded in death by his father, James F. Boling. Scott  is survived by 2 children, a son  C.J. Boling, at home; and a daughter, Allison Renee Boling, of Milford; his mother Sandra (Shahan) Steward, and step-father, Norman, with whom he resided;  3 brothers, James N. Boling, & wife, Cindy, of Dover; Rodney Bell, & Nicole, of Camden; and Michael Morris, of Bowers Beach;  3 Sisters, Fay Glanden & husband, Chick, of Frederica;  Angela F. Owens, of Woodside; and Donna Carey, of Dover; the mother of his children, Amy Boling, of Milford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    A celebration of Scott’s life will be held 6:30 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2014, in the New Life Christian Center,  614 South DuPont Highway,  Dover; where family and friends may gather from 6 to 6:30 pm.
    Through Scott’s donation, someone was given the gift of life.
