  • Dover Police have arrested four people after an alleged confrontation Saturday afternoon at the Dover Mall.
The altercation took place at 4:03 p.m. April 12, in the parking lot of Dick’s Sporting Goods at the mall and was sparked by an apparent road rage incident that took place on U.S. Route 13, south of the mall, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman
The victim pulled into the parking lot and he, his wife, and family were approached by four people who were in the second vehicle, Hoffman said. The four started kicking and punching the man, causing serious injuries; they then fled in their vehicle, almost hitting the victim’s wife.
Dover Police later located all four individuals and took them into custody.
The suspects were identified as Obrien L. Morris, 24, Danitra C. Watson, 25, Terrus Watson, 22, Deantae L. Watson, 19. They were charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangering, riot, second-degree conspiracy and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
All were committed to prison in default of $9,500 secured bond each.
