Dover Police have identified the suspect in the April 4 robbery of the Citizens Bank in Dover as Mark T. Jones.
Dover Police have identified the suspect in the April 4 robbery of the Citizen’s Bank at 8 W. Loockerman St. as Mark T. Jones, 35, whose last known address was 46 S. Queen St., Dover.
Police have been issued an arrest warrant for Jones, charging him with first-degree robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
The robbery occurred at approximately 3:35 p.m. when Jones walked into the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled from the bank after being given an undisclosed amount of cash, Hoffman said.
Jones fled northbound on foot in the State Street Alley, and is thought to have gone westbound into the downtown area.
He should be considered armed and dangerous, Hoffman said.
Attempts to contact Jones at his South Queen Street address have been unsuccessful.
