A 21-year-old Harrington woman, identified as Shayla E. Beaulieu, was arrested on March 19 for allegedly shoplifting at a Dollar General.
A 21-year-old Harrington woman was arrested on March 19 for allegedly shoplifting at a Dollar General.
Harrington police responded to the Dollar General in the Midway Shopping Center on March 14 after receiving a report of shoplifting. After police arrival, a store employee reported that an unknown white woman tried to remove items from the store without paying for them. Police determined that when the employee confronted the suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Shayla E. Beaulieu, Beaulieu pushed the employee to the ground.
Beaulieu turned herself in to the Harrington Police Department on March 19 and was charged with shoplifting under $1,500, third-degree conspiracy, offensive touching and disorderly conduct.
Beaulieu was arraigned and released on a $20,000 unsecured bond.
