  • A 34-year-old Harrington man, identified as Steve R. Huey, was arrested on assault charges following a domestic dispute in Harrington on Thursday, March 20.

  • A 34-year-old Harrington man was arrested on assault charges following a domestic dispute in Harrington on Thursday, March 20.
    Harrington police responded to the 100 block of Dorman Street in Harrington shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday, March 20, where they contacted the suspect, Steve R. Huey, and an adult female victim, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
    Police determined that Huey and the suspect were involved in an altercation that resulted in Huey striking the woman on the head with a laptop and causing minor injuries, Brode said.
    Brode said there were also three children in the residence at the time of the assault.
    Huey was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.
    Huey was charged with third-degree assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and released on a $4,000 unsecured bond.
