Dover Police are looking for a registered sex offender, David P. Caldwell, who has failed to register his address.

Officers with the Dover Police Department’s Sex Offender Enforcement Unit are looking for a local sex offender who has failed to register or re-register his address.

The man is identified as David P. Caldwell, 26, a Tier III, or high-risk offender who was convicted 2001 of second-degree rape.

Caldwell’s last known address was at 53 S. New St., Dover, but police have determined he moved from that location and failed to report to the State Bureau of Identification within three days to re-verify his information and provide a new address.

Caldwell is described as a white man, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has scars on his left wrist, back and right shoulder.
