Dover Police have arrested two brothers, identified as Terrence Williford and Christopher Gartner-Hunter, in connection with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

Two brothers were arrested early March 8 on charges of rape after the mother of the 14-year-old victim called police to her home.

According to Dover Police Department spokesman Lt. Jason Pires and documents released by Justice of the Peace Court 7, Dover, the mother discovered the girl as she was pushing a man in dark clothing out of the house.

Police picked up a man in black clothing, identified as Terrence Williford, 22, of the first block of Riverside Road, Dover, near the girl’s home. During interviews, the girl implicated both Williford and his brother, identified as Christopher Gartner-Hunter, 25, of the same address.

Both men were alleged to have numerous sexual encounters with the girl between Jan. 15 and March 8.

Dover Police arrested Gartner-Hunter at his home without incident.

Williford was charged with three counts of fourth-degree rape and two counts of second-degree unlawful sexual contact, and ordered held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, in default of a $35,000 cash bond.

Garner-Hunter was charged with four counts of fourth-degree rape, and ordered jailed at the Vaughn cent on a $40,000 cash bond.
