  • Guns stolen from Dover home

  • Dover Police are reporting two guns, including a hunting rifle, have been stolen from a Dover home.

  • Dover Police are investigating a burglary and theft complaint in which weapons and electronics were taken.
    The investigation showed that sometime between 1:30 and 6:18 p.m. March 7, someone entered a home in the first block of Kent Avenue, said police spokesman Lt. Jason Pires.
    Two guns, a 9mm Beretta pistol and a hunting rifle, were taken, along with a Kindle Fire HD tablet, a home entertainment system and an undisclosed amount of money.
    Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111.
