  • The Bayhealth Foundation honored members of the Boone-Chipman Society at a luncheon and plaque Feb. 24 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.
    The luncheon included guest speakers Bayhealth President and Chief Executive Officer Terry Murphy, FACHE, who presented the group with news about recent and upcoming construction efforts at Bayhealth; Bayhealth Internal Audit Manager Holly Case, CPA, CIA, FACHE, who shared her family’s memories of Milford-area physician W.T. Chipman, MD, for whom the society is partially named; estate attorney Kevin Baird of Baird Mandalas Brockstedt, LLC, who presented information on the importance of estate planning and how it can benefit donors and non-profits like Bayhealth.
    The luncheon concluded with the presentation of a special plaque engraved with the names of members of the Boone-Chipman Society in the main corridor of Kent General.
