The band Broken Bells and the duo Big Gigantic have been added to the Firefly Music Festival 2014 lineup.
This will mark Broken Bells’ first time playing Firefly, and Big Gigantic's second appearance.
“We couldn't be more excited to welcome Big Gigantic back to The Woodlands this June," says Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom. “Their return, along with the addition of Broken Bells, is adding to our anticipation for June."
Broken Bells is an alternative rock band and it includes the lead singer of The Shins, James Mercer, as well as Brian Burton, also known as Danger Mouse.
Big Gigantic is an electronic duo comprised of Dominic Lalli (producer/sax) and Jeremy Salken (drums).
In addition to the artist announcements, Firefly also matched all donations (up to $10,000) to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital made through the ticket-purchasing process. Firefly merchandise went on sale and a special limited general admission price was introduced for $259.
Firefly will be held in The Woodlands of Dover from June 19-22. For more information on the festival, visit fireflyfestival.com.
