  • Members of the 436th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight are scheduled to conduct demolitions training from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 20 at Dover Air Force Base, according to a statement released by the base Public Affairs Office. Because of this training, some residents may hear more noise than usual coming from the base's training range and may experience ground shaking, said Lt. Mesha Nelson. It is important to note that the noise from the range may travel farther during overcast weather conditions, Nelson added. “Dover Air Force Base works hard to minimize the impact training has on its surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors,” she said. Anyone with questions or concerns should contact the Public Affairs Office at (302) 677-3372 or 436aw.pa@us.af.mil.
